This page has been withdrawn
We previously published a Columbus, Ohio MLS virtual-staging rule here. It was sourced from the wrong association. We have withdrawn the guidance.
We attributed a Georgia board’s rule to Ohio.
An earlier version of this page described a virtual-staging rule for “Columbus, Ohio” and cited a rulebook hosted at cboronline.com. That domain belongs to the Columbus Board of REALTORS® in Columbus, Georgia (Muscogee County, serving the Georgia–Alabama border metro) — not the Columbus, Ohio market. The rule text itself was quoted accurately, but it was the wrong jurisdiction. Any comparison this page or our homepage drew between “two Ohio boards” was therefore incorrect and has also been removed.
We have withdrawn the advice rather than leave a plausible-but-wrong page live. We are re-researching the actual central-Ohio (Columbus REALTORS®) requirement from a primary source and will republish only once it is verified.
For the markets we have verified against their primary sources, see the MLS compliance overview. If your listing is in the Columbus, Ohio area, confirm the current rule directly with your MLS or broker before relying on any third-party summary, including ours.
