Data Processing
What data SEAREI processes, where it is stored, how long it is retained, and how to make data subject requests.
What data SEAREI processes
SEAREI processes the following categories of data on your behalf: property photos (originals and staged versions), listing metadata (address, room type, jurisdiction), account and organization records, payment records (via Stripe — SEAREI does not store card data directly), and compliance artifacts (verification URLs, certificates, disclosure records).
Where data is stored
All photos and job records are stored on AWS S3 in the United States. Compliance verification pages are hosted on SEAREI infrastructure accessible at public URLs. Payment data is processed and stored by Stripe under Stripe's data processing terms.
How long data is retained
Job records are retained for as long as your account is active. Compliance artifacts (verification pages, original photos, and certificates) are retained indefinitely, regardless of account status — they are designed to survive account cancellation so MLS audits, buyer challenges, and broker reviews remain possible for years after a listing closes. Account data is deleted within 30 days of a confirmed account deletion request. Compliance certificates and verification URLs are issued as legal records of the disclosure applied at time of publication and may not be retroactively modified. SEAREI may remove a verification URL only on legitimate court order or following specific data subject request review.
Sub-processors
SEAREI uses the following sub-processors: AWS (file storage and hosting), Stripe (payment processing), Anthropic (AI staging generation), Sentry (error tracking), PostHog (product analytics). A current list of sub-processors is available on request at support@searei.com.
Data subject requests
To request access to, correction of, or deletion of data SEAREI holds about you or your organization, email support@searei.com. We will respond within 30 days. Deletion of an account removes all personal data except records required for legal or tax compliance.

California residents may request disclosure of personal information categories collected, the business purpose for collection, and categories of third parties with whom data is shared, under CCPA. Email support@searei.com to submit a request.
British Columbia
SEAREI processes data for British Columbia users in accordance with PIPEDA and the British Columbia Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA BC). Contact support@searei.com for data requests.
