Privacy Policy

What SEAREI collects, how it is used, and your rights.

What we collect

When you use SEAREI, we collect the information you provide directly: your name, email address, company or brokerage name, and the photos you upload for staging or compliance processing. When you make a payment, Stripe processes your payment information — SEAREI does not store credit card numbers. We also collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited.

How we use it

We use your information to deliver the staging and compliance services you paid for, send you your compliance package and verification URL, respond to support requests, and improve the platform. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your listing photos to train AI models.

Photo and image data

Original and staged photos you upload are stored in encrypted cloud storage (AWS S3) and are associated only with your account and organization. They are not shared with other customers. Original photos uploaded for MLS Ready or Core Staging orders are hosted on a public verification URL as part of the compliance package — this is the intended function of the product and is part of what you are purchasing.

Third-party services

SEAREI uses the following third-party services to operate: Stripe for payment processing, AWS S3 for file storage, Anthropic Claude for AI-assisted staging generation, Sentry for error monitoring, and PostHog for product analytics. Each service operates under its own privacy policy.

Data retention

We retain your account data and job records for as long as your account is active. Compliance artifacts (verification pages, original photos, and certificates) are retained indefinitely, regardless of account status — they are designed to survive your SEAREI account cancellation so MLS audits, buyer challenges, and broker reviews remain possible for years after a listing closes. SEAREI may remove a verification URL only on legitimate court order or following specific data subject request review. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by emailing support@searei.com; verification URLs themselves are retained as legal records of the disclosure applied at time of publication.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting support@searei.com. California residents have additional rights under CCPA. British Columbia users have rights under PIPEDA and PIPA BC.
