Does this photo need a disclosure?

Answer two quick questions and get the rule for your jurisdiction — whether a disclosure is required, and exactly what it must include.

1. Has the photo been digitally altered or virtually staged?

That means adding, removing, or changing objects or features — furniture, flooring, paint color, landscaping, or the view through a window. (Basic color/exposure correction usually doesn’t count.)

This tool is informational guidance, not legal advice. Disclosure rules vary by MLS and change over time — confirm the current requirements with your MLS, brokerage, and legal counsel before publishing.
